Qualcomm has amazed the users with its new Flagship SOC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Obviously, that was the best Android Flagship and still right now. Also, Qualcomm changes its 800 series brand to Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3. Qualcomm has made huge improvements in their 700 series processor like the Snapdragon 778g Which is one of the best Snapdragon’s 700 processors that almost provides Flagship features in the budget.
Now Qualcomm also going to rebrand its Snapdragon’s 700 series processor with “Gen” naming like 7 Gen1, 7 Gen2, etc. Now according to the tipster Digital chat station, the rumors confirm that Qualcomm will make huge improvements in the upcoming 700 series.
SNAPDRAGON 7 GEN 1 SPECIFICATIONS
According to the rumors, the leaks confirm that the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip will come 4 high performance 4 x ARM Cortex-A710 CPU Cores and 4 Power efficient 4 x ARM Cortex-A510 CPU Cores. According to the renders it will equip with the latest ARMv9 architecture. Qualcomm makes huge improvements in CPU cores and replaces the Cortex A78 with Cortex-A710 and replaces the Cortex-A55 into Cortex-A510. According to the leaks the GPU of 7Gen 1 will be equipped with the latest Adreno 662 which will be more powerful than the previous one Adreno 642L that Qualcomm used in 778g and 778g+.
Now it’s not confirmed which manufacturing process Qualcomm will use? But We can expect the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Samsung 4 nm or TSMC 5nm Manufacturing process. Qualcomm is not happy with Samsung 4nm because of poor heat dissipation. It’s not confirmed but the news is circulating that Qualcomm will Use TSMC manufacturing nodes instead of Samsung.
The launch date of this chipset is not confirmed but we can expect this along with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ that might be expected to launch in May.
